Down Under, the Weathers Fine!

Copyright 2006 Tom Dinic

For the traveler thats considering Sydney, one of the main attractions is the moderate weather. Unlike other cities that boast the same thing, Sydney truly delivers on the sunny skies and comfortable conditions.

With a location in a basin near the coast of the Pacific Ocean, Sydney also features the Blue Mountains (http://www.bluemts.com.au/) off to its west. As the largest natural harbor in the world, Sydney also claims over seventy beaches that can be enjoyed by tourists and native Australians. With a similar city size to London, Sydney officials have taken care to preserve a large part of the area within the city limits. The city of Sydney (http://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/) has two main regions: the Hornsby Plateau and the Cumberland Plain. The plateau is a distinct feature that is over six hundred feet in elevation and split by valleys of forests. On the other hand, the plain is a flat region that is west and south of the actual harbor. This geography plays a large role in how the actual climate is affected.

With the ocean coast, its no wonder that Sydney displays all of the signs of an oceanic climate. However, travelers will

Sweet Memories

These days all you hear about is how to eat healthier, lose weight and get fit. Its all for the good, but sometimes its fun to go back to when you were a kid.

Remember all the games you used to play? Board games like Scrabble, Monopoly and Life. Tag, hide n seek.

Running around, riding bikes, skating, rolling down grassy hills.

Ok, Im getting a little idealized here. So lets have a little fun. Lets remember the candy!

What were your favorites? Licorice?? Chocolate?? Laffy Taffy?

I remember the delight of the days when I was first old enough to go to the store to buy candy on my own. No parents to tell me I couldnt have it. Lemonheads were always one of my favorites.

My sisters and I no doubt spent way too much of our allowances on candy, but it was sooo much fun! Wed hide it so that our mother wouldnt find it, but throw the wrappers straight into the trash after eating the candy. My mother laughed about that to me once a couple years ago, but I still think the logic works. The candy had been eaten after all;

New York Jets Football Preview

The Jets earned an AFC Wild Card spot in the playoffs, the number 5 seed and surprised most who predicted a less then stellar year. The Jets, however, did lose to the Patriots in the playoffs. No one saw head coach Eric Mangini’s first season going as well as it did, but this year the team is hoping it can make another run into the playoffs, especially since they only lost one starter. But the Jets face a tougher path through the regular season with a difficult schedule. In the 2007 schedule the faces the Jets they will find a whopping seven games against teams that made the playoffs in 2006, thanks mostly to them drawing the NFC East which fielded three playoff teams last season.

Bowl Crazy, Cash Smart

If you can track them all, take a look at the line-up of college football teams that make it to bowl games in what has, over time, grown to become a blur of bowls, and it hard not to wonder if a qualifying criteria exists.

There is, but with 27 or by some counts 28 bowl games on the schedule, organizers have to dip deep into pool to come up with enough teams to fill the spots. The set minimum standard of a .500 season and six wins to get an invitation has set the bar rather low.

They cant all be classic match-ups. With 117 Division Ia teams taking 54 Bowl spots theres no way. But hey, with more than $190 million to be divided up among participants and an average Bowl game attendance of 51,879 does it really matter? It adds up to a pretty good shot in the arm for a lot of athletic programs.

If there is a flaw its the rich get richer and harder to catch. Roughly $139 million of that $190 pay-out goes to the eight big Bowl participants.

Thats lots of action packaged up over 16 days of the

Key Considerations in Web Site Development Agreements

When web developers and their clients get together, there can be a variety of different responses. Some are so keen to get on with the project that they completely ignore the legal contract; others simply work on the standard terms and do not bother looking at them; still others sit down and negotiate an agreement that works for both parties.

We advocate the latter course so that before the project starts both the developer and client look at the expectations each of them has out of the project. There are many standard terms that apply but this article focuses on some of the important legally-related issues to address at that stage.

Clarifying the Extent of the work
For projects working on the basis of fixed fees, it is essential to clarify exactly what will be undertaken for that fixed fee. A proper specification for the site (both in terms of functionality and “look and feel”) is needed. It should also address required functionality in order to make the site legally effective (e.g. having the correct pop-up window with terms of business that can only be accepted by clicking the “I accept” button). It is also important to explain clearly

The Four Core Numerology Readings – Free Numerology Report By Master Numerologist

Mastering numerology is like mastering any other skill. The more you know about the tools you are working with – the more adept you are going to be at accomplishing the craft.

The core numbers that should be the essential basis of any reading are:

* The Life Path Number that is based on your BIRTHDATE

* The Expression Number (sometimes referred to as the Personality Number, Potential Number and Destiny number)that is based on ALL THE LETTERS OF YOUR FULL NAME GIVEN AT BIRTH.

* The Soul Urge Number (sometimes also called the Soul, Soul Path or Heart’s Desire number) that is based on a reduction of the VOWELS in your full birth name.

* The Destiny Number (sometimes also described as the Inner Dreams, Inner You or Karmic Number) that is based on a reduction of the CONSONANTS in your full birth name.

First of all lets look at the divination of the LIFE PATH NUMBER. The Life Path Number is calculated from assigning a numeric value (which don’t worry! we will provide for you next week) to your birthday (which must be written out in long form as in 05/25/1959 as opposed to 05/25/59.)

Buying at the top Wachovias mistake

The real estate market greatly exploded over the last five years with the biggest shift happening in the past three years. All good things must come to an end, and unfortunately this real estate boom is over. People who have bought in the past six months have been buying at the top, and even large companies have made this mistake. One company in particular is Wachovia Bank. Its recent purchase of Golden West Financial for $26 billion is a prime example of a buying past the peak investment.

Two of the primary drivers of this real estate market mania have been peoples belief that they must own real estate coupled with a second factor of low interest rate mortgages.

The first driver is peoples fervent belief that they must buy real estate, but this herd mentality is beginning to change. Speculators buy homes as investments and these investors have been a large source of the demand for real estate in the past few years. Now, not only have speculators stopped buying but they are also selling the properties they own. As a result, inventory of homes for sale are at astronomical levels.

The second driver of the

Reggie Bush

Born Reginald Bush, this California native came into the world in March 1985 in San Diego. He grew up in Spring Valley where his father worked as a campus security officer and his mother was employed by the county jail as a deputy sheriff. While attending Helix High School, Bush showed a big interest in athletics as he succeeded in both football and track. Nicknamed The President, Reggie later took his love of football with him as he went off to college. He has played a variety of positions as a member of the University of Southern California Trojans football team. Among them, running back, tail back, wide receiver, punt and kickoff return. Out of all positions, Bush is perhaps best noted for his status as a running back. In fact, he is believed to be one of the best, if not the best, running back in USCs history.

Among his many accomplishments with the University of Southern California Trojans, Bush was presented with the Walter Camp Award, the Doak Walker Award, the Heisman Trophy and was named the 2005 AP Sportsman of the Year. As a political science major, it is clear that Reggie

9 Tips For Writing Better Business Letters

Copyright Shaun R. Fawcett

Its quite amazing how often business people fail to follow basic guidelines when it comes to writing their business correspondence. That might explain why so many people come to my writing help Web sites looking for help with their business letter writing. Just as businesses need to be focused and efficient to thrive and succeed, so too does the primary tool of most businesses the business letter.

Following are a number of tips and guidelines that I have compiled while reading and writing many hundreds of business letters.over the past 25+ years.

1.Limit Them To One Page
By definition, business letters should be short and to the point, preferably one page in length. Studies have found that busy business people do not like to read beyond the first page, and will actually delay reading longer letters. So, if you dont want your letter to gather dust in an in-basket, keep it as short as possible.

2.Be Reader-Friendly
Always try to focus on the needs of the reader and make an effort to see things from their perspective. Put yourself in their position and imagine what it would be like for you to be receiving

It Could Happen to You

Copyright 2006 New World Opportunities Inc.

This is a true story.I was 25 years old when I answered an ad in the Toronto Star one day.It read “GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY”. The content of the ad basically discussed the fact that the company was new, willing to train managers in every facet of the business and would promote successful candidates into their own office. As well they had large ,international intentions.I walked into a cramped ,shabby interior of an office smack dab in the heart of Chinatown but what struck me was the energy of the place and the confidence of the gentleman who interviewed me ( unbeknownst to me at the time but he was a millionaire by the age of 30).

I was hired on a 100% commission plan only and thus I entered the world of telemarketing selling paper rolls and ribbons for POS,cash registers and credit card machines. It was a classic boiler room only the business was a legitimate model through and through. However, hustle and attitude were the vernacular of the day. These gentlemen had run businesses before but their forte was strictly a direct sales platform where their peopel were independent brokers and every deal was cash on
